CNA – 專訪／美集體訴訟向中求償181兆 律師日接500來電
中央社記者徐薇婷華盛頓29日專電）武漢肺炎在全球造成巨大經濟、人命損失，逾萬名美國民眾集體向北京提告求償6兆美元（約新台幣181兆）。律師團接受中央社記者專訪指出，許多人對中國隱匿疫情感到憤慨，要向北京討回每一分錢損失。
美國柏曼法律事務所（Berman Law Group）3月12日向佛羅里達州南區地方法院提出集體訴訟，指控中國政府明知2019冠狀病毒疾病（COVID-19，武漢肺炎）具危險性，且可能演變為大流行疾病，卻因為自身經濟利益選擇隱匿疫情。
律師團提出訴訟當時，原告只有4位美國民眾加上1間棒球訓練中心。但隨疫情衝擊加劇，訴訟案僅在數週時間就吸引約8000位民眾、2000間公司企業加入，讓這起向中國追討「疫情損失」的集體訴訟備受矚目。
